Recording ADR for ‘The BFG’ with Steven Spielberg
We had the pleasure of recording ADR for the lead ‘Sophie’, along side direction from Steven Speilberg, in his adaptation of The BFG.
Stephen dialled into the studio via Skype to video conference with Rebecca Hall (‘Sophie’) while Skywalker Sound dialled in via Source Connect. George Atkins was lucky enough to be the ADR mixer on this session. All the ADR work for Ruby’s character was done within 6 hours.
Roald Dahl’s 1982 childrens book, The BFG, follows an orphan girl who befriends a warm-hearted giant, taking her to Giant Country, where they set out to stop the man-eating giants that are invading the human world.
Starring; Rebecca Hall, Ruby Barnhill, Mark Rylance, Jemaine Clement and Bill Hader.
Recording the score for StarDog and TurboCat animated feature film
A lost dog and a genius cat must team up to embark on a voyage in space to find their way home. The pair must also be cautious of a pet ban which has been enforced by an angry police officer.
Recording ADR for Ordinary Love
Recording ADR for ‘Ordinary Love’, which tells the story of a middle aged couple, Joan (Lesley Manville) and Tom (Liam Neeson). Joan is diagnosed with having breast cancer & the couple are faced with the challenges that come with the condition.

We recorded ADR for a number of scenes in Men In Black International with the actor at 80 HERTZ and the director calling the shots in a studio in LA via Source Connect.
