Preacher Series 4

We had Joseph Gilgun back in the studio to record ADR for series 4 of AMCs Preacher. For the session Joseph was positioned in our booth whilst the production team monitored and gave direction from another studio in the USA.

This was archived by using Source Connect, a software based program that integrates with Pro Tools to transmit and receive audio over the internet in realtime. Using Source connect we were also able to send timecode to the paring studio which allowed us to control their Pro Tools system remotely. This gave us the flexibility to ‘drive’ the session whilst Joseph was able to receive realtime direction from the production team. This type of workflow is typical for us when working on ADR.

Preacher tells the story of the offspring of a demon and an angel that chose to possess the body of an alcoholic Texas preacher. Jesse, the preacher, then enlists the help of a vampire and his ex to find God.
