Recording Aminé – The Secret Life of Pets 2: ‘It’s Gonna Be a Lovely Day’

We had the US rapper Aminé in the studio to record his vocals for the song on the last scene of Universals “The Secret Life of Pets 2”. Aminé chose to sit in the control room to record his vocal takes, opting to use our Manley Reference C microphone. 

In this follow up Max faces some major changes after his owner gets married and now has a child. Whilst on a family trip to the countryside, Max meets a farm dog named Rooster, and both attempt to overcome his fears. Meanwhile, Gidget tries to rescue Max’s favorite toy from a cat-packed apartment, and Snowball sets on a mission to free a white tiger named Hu from a circus
